TALX to be ChoicePoint-TM- ASP for Employment Verification through Alliance Agreement

TALX Corp. (NASDAQ: TALX) announced today that it has signed a contract with ChoicePoint Services Inc.'s Workplace Solutions business unit, the nation's largest pre-employment screening provider. Under this agreement, TALX will be ChoicePoint's application service provider (ASP) for employment verifications as part of ChoicePoint's suite of pre-employment screening services. TALX will integrate its employment and salary verification service- The Work Number(R)- into ChoicePoint's internal processing system. Under terms of the contract, The Work Number will also integrate into ChoicePoint's Internet product, IntroScan(TM), for ChoicePoint clients. Through this new relationship, The Work Number will help ChoicePoint streamline their pre-employment screening process to get instant employment verifications, allowing employers throughout the U.S. to make hiring decisions faster.
