Global Online Telecom, an international telecommunications company, released Global Web Fax, a comprehensive family of IP-fax services providing significant savings worldwide.

Global WebEax will cater to businesses of all sizes and will provide customers worldwide with on-ramps for desktop-to-fax, e-mail-to-fax, Web-to-fax, and standard fax-to-fax services. Global WebFax will be sold on-line through the Global Online family of international e-commerce portals and distributed through their worldwide network of representatives.

Global Online Telecom will act as a global ASP for IP-fax services to business. According to data from International Data Corp., the IP-fax market is a booming market growing from 71 million minutes in 1997, to 7.7 billion minutes expect in 2002 a 156 percent compound annual growth rate.

Global WebFax includes a free software download for the desktop-to-fax service. Each product includes the ability to broadcast faxes to multiple parties and the desktop product provides full mail-merge capabilities with Windows Office software for customized fax broadcasts.
