Procter & Gamble Signs Three-Year Deal With Russian Fashion Week
MOSCOW, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Russian Fashion Week and beauty conglomerate Procter & Gamble have signed a three-year sponsorship partnership agreement. P&G's Pantene Pro-V brand will be featured as the key sponsor for three years during Russian Fashion Week, Moscow in April and October. RFW and P&G will heavily promote and market Pantene Shampoo throughout the contract.
Russian Fashion Week debuted in Moscow in 2002 featuring 25 of the most celebrated ready-to-wear designers from Russia and the former Soviet Union countries. In less than two years Russian Fashion Week has progressed into an internationally renowned event. In fact, 60 Designers from 13 countries presented their Fall/Winter 2004 collections on several runways installed in the Center of Moscow. More than 450 accredited local and international journalists attended along with an impressive roster of buyers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, London, Paris, Milan, New York and more.

For the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2005 season- October 22-30, 2004 RFW will erect Tents in a park in the heart of Moscow. 75 Russian Designers such as Julia Dalakian, Max Chernitsov, Sultana Frantsuzova, Lidia Soselia, Razu Mikhina, Yegor Zaitsev, Masha Sharoeva, Dmitry Loginov, Yulia Nikolaeva as well as NB Karavay (Ukraine), A&V (Lithuania), Avtandil (Georgia), Samoschenko (Belorussia) will join designers from the UK, France and the United States for the anticipated week. This will be the largest fashion event to ever take place in Russia. RFW has confirmed internationally renowned designer Jeremy Scott to show on October 23, 2004. Scott will bring his vision of LA Gang life onto the catwalks of Moscow.
