Linux, FreeBSD, and OpenBSD antivirus solutions provider Central Command Inc. has announced that Fasthosts Internet Ltd, UK web hosting company, has selected Vexira Antivirus for Linux to protect its e-mail infrastructure against malicious programs.
Among the features of Vexira Antivirus are scanning of all in-bound and out-bound e-mail, processing high volumes of e-mail, heuristic virus detection and full automatic update, says the company.
Supported Linux x86 (IA32) platforms include Redhat, Red Flag, SuSE, Debian, Gentoo, Mandrake and Slackware.
