Lexmark releases Linux driver - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article
RICHMOND HILL, Ont. -- Lexmark Canada Inc. has announced what it says is the first-ever Linux driver developed by a manufacturer for colour inkjet printers. Linux users can now integrate colour inkjet printing into their computing system for support of consumer and SOHO-based printing needs on the Lexmark Z52 and Z32 colour Jetprinters.
The Lexmark driver supports Red Hat, SuSE and Mandrake three distributions of Linux which constitute 70 per cent of the Linux market, IDC says.
