Combined Solution Provides Users with Comprehensive Set of Data Management Tools within a High-Performance, Reliable, Network-Based Platform

StoreAge Networking Technologies, a leading provider of SAN storage management and advanced data protection solutions, along with Troika Networks Inc., the leading developer of the Network Storage Services Platform approach to SAN intelligence, today announced StoreAge SVM for Troika Network's Accelera Network Storage Services (NSS) Platform. The combined solution provides the power of StoreAge's storage management software with Troika's high-performance, fabric-agnostic, open platform for hosting network-based storage services software. This new integrated solution is currently deployed at multiple sites with volume shipments beginning in Q2 of this year.

StoreAge SVM for Troika Accelera NSS Platform features a full set of data management tools from StoreAge SVM software, which provides users with a comprehensive set of business continuity tools that run in a heterogeneous environment. These data management tools, including StoreAge multiView(TM), multiCopy(TM), and multiMirror(TM) have been successfully ported to Troika's Accelera Network Storage Services Platform. The Accelera NSS Platform is a purpose-built, high performance platform designed specifically for optimizing storage applications, giving customers unprecedented flexibility in choosing what new capabilities to add to their networks, while leveraging their existing infrastructure investment.

The joint solution has been fully-tested by Troika and StoreAge, and supports Solaris 8 and 9, Windows 2000, Linux RedHat 9 and RedHat ES, and VMware ESX Service 2.0.1 hosts. Currently, the combined solution is undergoing testing with Microsoft Cluster Server, Veritas Dynamic MultiPathing and other high availability software solutions.
