Applix upgrades Linux productivity suite - version 4.4.1 of the Applixware business application suite for Linux - Brief Article - Product Announcement
Applix Inc. has released a 4.4.1 upgrade to its Applixware office productivity suite for Linux, all major Unix flavors, Windows NT and Windows 95.
The software was written for Linux in 1996 but the upgrade has a filtering framework optimized for document interchange between Microsoft's Office 97 products. It also is modified for Y2K compliance. The suite includes Applix Words, Spreadsheets, Graphics, Presents, and HTML Author. The Linux version also includes Applix Data and Applix Builder as standard modules.
