Clearswift Announces Partnership with Symantec; Partnership to Provide Clearswift Customers Managed Access to Symantec AntiVirus Software Products

The first integration is already complete. A Clearswift MAILsweeper for SMTP antivirus scenario, which can be freely downloaded from Clearswift's Web site, allows MAILsweeper SMTP 4.3 to use the Symantec AntiVirus Scan Engine 4.0 for virus scanning. This combined solution is now available for Clearswift and Symantec customers and resellers.

Later this month Symantec will launch an antivirus product specifically for Clearswift MAILsweeper for SMTP. In the future, both companies will add Symantec AntiVirus support for the MIMEsweeper family and ENTERPRISEsuite products.
