Cellular One customers in Grand Rapids, Lansing and other cities in Michigan have a new roaming program the company hopes will be less expensive. The closer a user is to his home area, the less he will be charged for roaming. Cellular One has divided the country into three roaming bands based on distance from the home Michigan markets, and will offer different roaming charges depending on the rate plan users select.
