Bell Mobility Cellular Inc - B++ investment grade from Canadian Bond Rating Service
Bell Mobility Cellular Inc., a subsidiary of BCE Mobile Communications Inc., announced last week that it has received a "B++ Investment Grade" rating with a "positive rating outlook" from Canadian Bond Rating Service (CBRS). The rating applies to the company's four existing series of senior unsecured debentures. CBRS cited Bell Mobility Cellular's franchise area, extensive cellular coverage and market share as support for the rating.
In April 1993, Bell Mobility Cellular received a "BBB-" rating from Standard & Poor's Corp., which is considered "investment grade" in the United States. Bell Mobility Cellular provides cellular telephone services to 516,000 customers in Ontario and Quebec and across North America through its participation in Mobility Canada and MobiLink.
